# On shadcn's icon rail, each faded group label sits over the previous group's last icon and swallows its hover and clicks

## Rule

If an icon on a collapsed shadcn Sidebar won't hover or click, the next group's label (opacity-0, -mt-8) is on top of it: add group-data-[collapsible=icon]:invisible to SidebarGroupLabel.

## Check

the ⌘B test then hovered the Transactions icon on the rail and read the tooltip "Transactions · 3 pending" → passed.

## I assumed

an `opacity-0` label is out of the way on the rail.

## What happened

on the sidebar with `collapsible="icon"`, `locator('a[href="/transactions"]').hover()` timed out: `<div data-sidebar="group-label" …>Money management</div> … subtree intercepts pointer events`. The Payments group's only icon could not be hovered (no tooltip) or clicked.

## Why

on the rail SidebarGroupLabel gets `-mt-8 opacity-0`; the 32px label moves up over the bottom of the group above it. Opacity doesn't stop hit-testing.

## The fix

`group-data-[collapsible=icon]:invisible` on the label, with `visibility` added to its transition list so it still fades out before hiding.
