# Tests that build the seeded restaurant timed out at random at 5 s on a busy machine: give them 20 s

## I assumed

Vitest's default 5-second timeout was plenty for the seed's consistency tests.

## What happened

each of those tests generates the restaurant first. On a busy machine that sometimes took longer than 5 seconds, and the suites failed at random.

## The fix

`testTimeout: 20_000` in vitest.config.mts. The tests check the same things, but no longer fail because the machine is busy.

## Evidence

commit 28e2de1.
