# UpFork > UpFork (https://upfork.dev) is a marketplace for hand-built software: React + Tailwind CSS components that install with the shadcn CLI, landing pages, full-stack projects, apps, desktop software and scripts, made by independent developers and previewed live before you take them. Plenty is free; the rest is priced in USDT, and UpFork's own products also come with its membership plans. Key facts: - Six kinds of product: components, landing pages, full-stack projects, apps, desktop software and scripts. - Paid in USDT on TRON (TRC-20), wallet to wallet: the buyer pays the developer's own wallet, or UpFork's on the sales that are its share (1 of every 5 sales of each product). UpFork never holds the money. - Developers sell free or paid products. UpFork's share of their sales is 20%, taken as whole sales: UpFork's turn comes on 1 of every 5 sales of each product, starting with the first, and that buyer pays UpFork's wallet; every other sale is paid straight to the developer's, in full. - Plans: every member is on Free, which brings UpFork's free products a few times a day; paid plans add more of UpFork's own products and higher limits, a month or a year at a time. Developers' products aren't part of any plan. See https://upfork.dev/pricing. - Components and landing pages install from UpFork's shadcn registry: `npx shadcn@latest add @upfork/`, with the member's personal CLI token in `UPFORK_TOKEN`. Everything else ships as versioned downloads with SHA-256 checksums. - Anyone can browse and try the live previews; using a product, even a free one, takes a free account. - Developers are approved before they sell, after proving a GitHub account or website is theirs; releases are reviewed and their files scanned for malware. - Each product shows its license: the UpFork Standard License ("Use it in unlimited personal and commercial projects. Don't resell or redistribute it on its own.") or an open-source one (MIT, Apache 2.0, BSD 3-Clause, GPL v3). - Contact: support@upfork.dev for orders, accounts and data; info@upfork.dev for everything else. ## About UpFork - [About UpFork](https://upfork.dev/about) - [Licenses](https://upfork.dev/licenses) - [Privacy policy](https://upfork.dev/privacy) - [Contact](https://upfork.dev/contact) - [Selling a component on UpFork](https://upfork.dev/sell/guide) - [Pricing](https://upfork.dev/pricing): the plans, what each includes, its limits and its price - [Sell on UpFork](https://upfork.dev/sell): how developers apply to sell, and UpFork's share ## Docs How to use UpFork, step by step; each links to the page as Markdown (drop the .md for the page itself). - [UpFork docs](https://upfork.dev/docs.md): What UpFork sells, what you can do without an account, and how components, templates and downloads reach your project. - [Install components](https://upfork.dev/docs/install.md): Install UpFork's components and landing pages into your React project with the shadcn CLI: your token, components.json, and the add command. - [CLI messages](https://upfork.dev/docs/cli-messages.md): Every answer UpFork's registry can give the shadcn CLI, what it means, and what to do about it. - [Templates and downloads](https://upfork.dev/docs/downloads.md): How full-stack projects, apps, desktop software, scripts and downloadable templates reach you: releases, links, checksums, demos and AI prompts. - [Paying with USDT](https://upfork.dev/docs/paying.md): How buying works on UpFork: USDT on TRON, wallet to wallet, the transaction ID, partial payments and receipts. - [Plans and limits](https://upfork.dev/docs/plans.md): What UpFork's plans include, the daily limits, and what counts against them: using a product counts, looking never does. ## Catalog - [All products](https://upfork.dev/products): 10 on sale - [Components](https://upfork.dev/components): React + Tailwind building blocks you install with the shadcn CLI. - [Landing pages](https://upfork.dev/landing-pages): Complete, responsive marketing pages, installed like components or downloaded as plain HTML. ## Products Each links to its page as Markdown; drop the .md for the page itself. - [Pulse Bento Feature Highlights — Interactive Live-Demo Feature Cards](https://upfork.dev/products/pulse-bento-feature-cards.md): A SaaS feature highlights section with four live product-demo cards: single-file HTML, Tailwind CSS and vanilla JS. Hand-built software of six kinds: React and Tailwind components, landing pages, full-stack projects, apps, desktop software and scripts. Plenty of it is free; the rest is paid for in USDT, and UpFork's own products also come with its plans. ### Do I need an account to buy? Yes, a free one: it keeps every order, each payment you make for it, your files and your CLI tokens together. Free products take it too. Without an account you can browse and try the live previews, but not download, install or copy anything. ### Can I try something before I pay? Yes. Components and landing pages run in a live preview on their page, light or dark, at phone, tablet or desktop width. Paid code lists its files up front and unlocks once you buy. ### What am I allowed to do with it? Each product shows its license. UpFork's Standard License lets you use it in unlimited personal and commercial projects, just not resell it on its own; others use open licenses such as MIT. ### What are UpFork's plans? Memberships for UpFork's own products. Every member is on Free, which brings UpFork's free products a few times a day; each paid plan adds more of UpFork's products and higher limits, and includes everything in the plans before it. The pricing page lists what each one includes and costs. ### What do the limits count? Downloads (a file, the code's ZIP or a CLI install), copies of a product's AI prompt, and demos opened in a tab of their own, of UpFork's products that come with a plan. Using the same product the same way again that day counts once, and the counts come back at 00:00 UTC. Developers' products, and anything you bought, never count, and developer accounts have no limits at all. ### Do the plans include developers' products? No. Developers' products are free or paid on their own, whatever your plan: a paid one is bought from its developer like any other order. ### How do I pay for a plan, and does it renew? In USDT on TRON, a month or a year at a time (a year costs less), paid like any order. Nothing renews by itself: you get an e-mail a week and a day before your plan runs out, with a button to renew. ### What if I move to a dearer plan? It starts at once, and the plan you were on waits, then picks up again with the days it had left once the dearer one is over: no paid day is lost. ### How do I pay in USDT? Your order shows the price and the TRON address to pay, with its QR code. Send the price as a USDT transfer on TRON (TRC-20), then paste its transaction ID on the order: it's looked up on-chain, and the files unlock once it's confirmed, about a minute after you send it. ### What if I send less, or too much? Less is fine: what you sent counts, and the order asks for the rest, which you send the same way. More can't be refunded by UpFork, because the money goes straight to the wallet on your order, so send the amount due and no more. ### What if I use the wrong network or address? USDT sent on another network (ERC-20, BEP-20 …), any other token, or to another address never reaches the wallet on your order and can't be recovered. That's the buyer's responsibility, which you accept before you order. ### Does UpFork ever hold my money? Never. You pay straight into the developer's own wallet, or UpFork's on the sales that are its share (1 of every 5 sales of each product), and UpFork keeps no private keys, so there's nothing in between to hold on to. ### How do I install a component? With the shadcn CLI: npx shadcn@latest add @upfork/ followed by the product's name. Every install uses the personal CLI token you create on your account page, free components and paid ones alike. ### How do downloads work? Each download button makes a private link that lasts ten minutes and resumes if it's interrupted. Every release file shows its SHA-256, so you can check what you got. ### Is the software safe to run? Developers' releases are reviewed before they go out, and their files are scanned for malware. Live previews run sandboxed on an origin of their own, so they can't reach the site or your account. ### Who can sell on UpFork? Developers the admin has approved after looking at their work. Apply from the Sell page: prove your GitHub account or your website is yours (a code in a gist, or a small text file on your site), add your resume if you like, and a few words about what you build. ### What does it cost to sell? Nothing up front: applying, publishing and the developer panel are free. UpFork's share is 20%, taken as whole sales: 1 of every 5 sales of each product, starting with the first, is paid to UpFork's wallet, and every other sale straight to yours, in full. There's no payout threshold, and nothing is ever held back. ### How do buyers get my product? Components and landing pages install from UpFork's shadcn registry. Everything else ships as versioned releases, with checksums and expiring download links.
