## How to get it

It's a React Native component for Expo apps (Expo SDK 57), not a shadcn item: copy its folders into the app's root from its ZIP (Download source on its page) or through UpFork's MCP server (install_product), then install its packages with Expo:

```bash
npx expo install @shopify/react-native-skia expo-haptics react-native-gesture-handler react-native-reanimated react-native-svg react-native-worklets
```

It's free and in no plan: an AI assistant installs it through MCP with no account, and its ZIP downloads with a free UpFork account.

Step by step, with the App.tsx that shows it and Skia's web setup: https://upfork.dev/docs/mobile.

## About

Arc Picker is the dial behind camera filters, avatar builders, mood check-ins and theme choosers. Items ride a true circular arc, and the one under the fixed ring is chosen. It turns like a physical dial: weight, momentum, a click as each item passes, and an exact landing under the ring.

- **A real arc.** Items sit on a circle by angle, upright or turned along the curve, with the ends falling away (or rising, with a top arc) and fading as the dial turns away from you.
- **Live blend.** A fractional index follows every frame, so the screen above can blend between neighbouring choices while you turn. The camera demo blends its viewfinder between two filters' colour matrices.
- **Feels physical.** A fling keeps your speed and decelerates onto the nearest item; detents tick (throttled, so a fast spin isn't a buzz) and the ring flashes with each one, with a firmer tick on settle.
- **Touch, mouse and wheel.** Your own drag, a mouse drag and one wheel notch per item all drive the same dial. Tap any item to turn to it, tap the chosen one for its action (a shutter).
- **Loop or ends.** Endless, or bounded with a rubber band. Light and dark, RTL, reduced motion, and an adjustable control for screen readers.

Three complete demos: a camera with a lakeside scene drawn in Skia and nine live filters, an avatar builder with ten drawn faces and a backdrop dial curving under them, and a mood journal whose whole screen takes the mood's colour.
