## How to get it

It's a React Native component for Expo apps (Expo SDK 57), not a shadcn item: copy its folders into the app's root from its ZIP (Download source on its page) or through UpFork's MCP server (install_product), then install its packages with Expo:

```bash
npx expo install expo-haptics react-native-reanimated react-native-svg react-native-worklets
```

It's free and in no plan: an AI assistant installs it through MCP with no account, and its ZIP downloads with a free UpFork account.

Step by step, with the App.tsx that shows it and Skia's web setup: https://upfork.dev/docs/mobile.

## About

Every onboarding, filter sheet and tag picker has chips — Choice Chips makes them a pleasure to tap. Colour grows from the exact point you pressed, a check circle pops in and draws its stroke, and the chips after it slide to their new places instead of jumping.

- **Every choice pattern.** Multiple or single choice, `max` and `min` limits, disabled options, counts, emoji or your own icons, a colour per option.
- **A polite "no".** A tap past the limit shakes the chip, plays a warning haptic, pulses the helper line and tells screen readers why.
- **Three layouts.** Wrap, a scrolling row whose edges fade through the chips themselves, or an equal-column grid.
- **Three looks, three sizes.** Tinted, outline and solid; 32, 40 and 48 points. Selected labels are adjusted to stay readable on any accent.
- **Search built in.** Filter long lists, underline the match, keep picks pinned on top.
- **Zero reflow when you need it.** `checkPlacement="reserve"` keeps the check's space, so dense layouts never move.
- **Accessible**: checkbox and radio semantics, announced limits, keyboard focus rings on the web only when using the keyboard, reduced-motion support.

Three complete demos — interests onboarding, a shop filter sheet and a restaurant booking step — each in light and dark.
