Use it in unlimited personal and commercial projects. Don't resell or redistribute it on its own.

• Use it in as many personal and commercial projects as you like, and change it however they need.
• Don’t resell or redistribute it on its own: it goes out as part of something you built, never as the thing you sell or share.

Some developers publish under a well-known open-source license instead. In short:

• MIT License: Do anything with it, keeping the copyright notice.
• Apache License 2.0: Permissive, with an explicit patent grant; keep the notices.
• BSD 3-Clause License: Permissive; keep the notice, and don't use the author's name to promote.
• GNU GPL v3: Free to use and change; what you distribute with it must be GPL too.
