Paying with USDT
How buying works on UpFork: USDT on TRON, wallet to wallet, the transaction ID, partial payments and receipts.
Updated This page as Markdown
Paid products and plans on UpFork are paid in USDT on the TRON network (TRC-20), wallet to wallet. UpFork never holds your money: you pay the developer's wallet, or UpFork's for UpFork's own products, for plans, and for a developer's sale that's UpFork's turn. Your order always shows the exact address to pay.
Buying takes an account. It's free: sign up.
Before you pay
USDT on TRON (TRC-20) only. USDT sent on another network (ERC-20, BEP-20 and the like), any other token, or to any other address never arrives, and can't be recovered. A payment on the network can't be reversed, so a mistake or anything paid above the price can't be refunded by UpFork.
You accept this at checkout before an order is made.
Paying an order
- On the product's page (or the pricing page, for a plan), choose to buy, tick the box that you've read the warnings, and place the order.
- The order page shows the amount, the network and the wallet address, with a QR code. Send exactly that amount of USDT on TRON to that address, from your own wallet or an exchange. Send it after the order is placed: a transaction from before it doesn't count.
- Copy the payment's transaction ID (TXID) and paste it into the order. It's the 64-character ID of the transaction: wallets show it in the transaction's details, and exchanges in your withdrawal history.
- UpFork checks it on TRON straight away, and keeps checking until the network has confirmed it. Usually that takes a minute or two.
Once it's all paid, you get a receipt by e-mail, and the product is yours: install it, download it, or find it in your purchases any time. A plan joins your plans: the receipt says when it starts.
What the check looks at
A transaction ID is credited to your order when the transaction:
- is confirmed on TRON, and succeeded;
- moved Tether's USDT to your order's wallet;
- was sent after you placed the order (from two minutes before, to allow for clocks);
- hasn't been credited to any order before.
A transaction that's still unknown or unconfirmed 15 minutes after you paste it is turned down, and you're told why by e-mail. You can have up to three transactions waiting at once.
Paid less, or more
- Less: an exchange may take its fee out of what you send, for example. The order shows what's left: send the rest to the same wallet, and paste that transaction's ID too. The payments add up, and the order is paid once they reach the price.
- More: anything above the price went straight to the wallet you paid, and can't be refunded by UpFork. A payment to an order that was already paid works the same way: contact the seller about it.
An order doesn't expire: you can pay it, or pay the rest of it, later.
