after adding to a count in SQL (SET n = n + 1), marking the tracked entity's property IsModified = false would just keep EF from writing it again.
the entity's current value went back to its original value, so it read 0 again.
set the property's OriginalValue to the new value instead: the entity keeps it and EF sees nothing to write.
phase 10, commit a442731.
